Le Pick Clops

Le Pick Clops is a film that memorialises sixteen minutes. But it is in the act of memorialisation that time and a fixed narrative is lost, giving rise to a living system of infinite variety and complexity. This living system depends upon an observer for it to be experienced. And to this observer is entrusted the creative act that births the experience.

Like any non narrative abstraction the attention and presence offered by the observer is free to interpret and arrange the frame according to their preference. What may be preferred today may be something other tomorrow, further offering expansion to the work.

Sixteen minutes becomes sixty three and kinetic energy assumes the form of an intimate dance. The effortless play of expression, endlessly resolving from passive to active in slow union, communicates a direct emotional resonance entirely transcending the media that has seemingly captured it. Here lies the mystery, for nothing at all is captured. All is a fluid play of potential.
